Our research focuses on understanding electrocatalytic reactions and the stability and degradation of materials in electrochemical energy conversion.

We combine fundamental electrochemistry with advanced analytical and high-throughput methods to identify degradation mechanisms and establish principles for designing more active and durable electrocatalysts.

Our current research spans water electrolysis, fuel cells, catalyst stability and dissolution, catalyst evaluation under realistic conditions, and automated and high-throughput electrochemistry.
