Angus is a Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral research fellow based in Dr. Tim-Patrick Fellinger’s group, Division 3.6: Electrochemical Energy Materials, at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) in Berlin. Division 3.6 research focusses on templated carbon materials for batteries (primarily Na-ion) and electrocatalysis (Oxygen reduction, CO2 reduction etc.). Angus’ research focusses on single metal atoms in N-doped C catalysts (M-N-C) for electrochemical conversion reactions. Angus is visiting HI-ERN during August 2026 to probe the stability of Ni-N-C during CO2 reduction using online ICP-MS.
