Xiaoyun Song

Xiaoyun Song is a visiting scholar from Beijing Huairou Laboratory, China, where she works as a Senior Researcher. She holds a PhD, and her research has mainly focused on PEM water electrolysis membrane electrode assemblies, including MEA fabrication, scale-up preparation, electrochemical performance evaluation, and degradation behavior.

During her stay in the Cherevko group, she will focus on the failure and degradation behavior of PEM water electrolysis MEAs under high current densities. This visit is also expected to help build a stronger basis for future collaboration between Beijing Huairou Laboratory and Forschungszentrum Jülich in water electrolysis for hydrogen production.
